Farmers: Mark & Tomie Anthony

Mark & Tomie are mixed-produce growers who sell at both the Clovis and Portales Farmer’s Markets. They are the definition of resourceful and “bootstrap” growers, with low-cost and repurposed items making up their needs in a highly productive, clean setup
Crowder peas, beets, carrots, sweet corn, melons, peppers, tomatoes, chilis, asparagus, and elderberries make up just a few of the wildly diverse products on their farm.
Having been on their property since 2018 is hard to believe, given the ornate water catchment system installed on their out-buildings and extensively planted hedgerows as a windbreak.
They currently plan to sell to Elida schools in the coming year, a rural community with 174 students outside of Clovis, NM.
